Client LAST Modern Event Venue Services Branding, Website Design & Development LAST Modern Event Venue Overview What we did LAST Modern Event Venue is a space that inspires people to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories in the heart of downtown Edmonton. It’s a modern and chic venue for weddings, corporate, and community gatherings.Photography credit to: Dianna Man LAST is the brainchild of the founders Lucy, Anita, and Sarah. The three of them had a strong vision for the aesthetic of their soon-to-be space. We designed their logo and visual identity system to pair with this vision. It was important for the brand to reflect the interior design decisions and create a cohesive experience from someone’s first interaction with their brand all the way to being inside, enjoying the venue.The experience wouldn’t be complete without a considering their online presence. We designed and built their website on WordPress, and built in some amazing tools and integrations to help them with bookings and scheduling. Arches are an important feature in the brand. The LAST wordmark incorporates arches into the letterforms and different logo variations. The LAST logo and visual identity system is modern, sophisticated, and chic. This tied into the client’s interior design decisions and vision for the space as a whole. The arches mimic aspects of the physical space, creating a unified experience. The visual identity considers how the logo(s) appear on signage, social media, and a variety of other applications. The LAST website is where people can book tours, get to know more about LAST, and have a glimpse of the space before visiting. It’s an important touchpoint in customer experience. We integrated the tools needed for the website to not only be a functional tool for users, but also a easy-to-use tool for the team at LAST. We considered and designed the responsive experience of their website while making sure the brand was highlighted, photography was easy to edit and update over time, and that it hit the mark for good-looks!
